Leg Tingling?

Ugh. For the past couple of weeks I have been getting this tingling in my right leg, usually before I fall asleep, which of course, prevents me from going to sleep.. Anyone else suffer from this?

it could be RLS(restless leg syndrome)..don't be afraid, it is actually common in pregnant women and will go away after. Talk to your dr about it, there are drugs to treat it, but only when the benefits outway the risks...which I don't think they do in pregnancy...also exercising and stretching helps...def talk to doc, try these techniques out and let us know...good luck!

yes, i feel like i constantly hae to stretch them but that doesnt even work. I think its the lack of circulation

maybe try sleeping with your head a bit elevated (an extra couple pillows) it could be that your legs are above your heart and head while sleeping becuase of all of the pillows?

or else it could be the position of your leg / hip is somehow slightly pinching your circulation? try different positions

I agree with the other poster... definitely avoid any restless leg medications... I'm a phamacologist and know oh too well that these drugs are prescribed for years w/o knowing all of the side effects... including those during pregnancy... so avoid any meds that came on the market 5 years ago or less....
