LEGACY BABY FURNITURE - BBB
DH and I looked at cribs at BBB. DH loved the convertible crib from Legacy "Bergen County" in natural.
Did anyone buy Legacy baby furniture?
Any pros and cons?
TIA

Re: LEGACY BABY FURNITURE - BBB
I have all legacy furniture. I LOVE IT!!
It's so well made, i have the Bergen County lifetime crib, changing dresser with armoire and 5 chest of drawers.
here's the crib
I LOVE it! The drawers are dovetailed and not stapled together, it's built really well too. I fell in love with it cause it doesn't look like baby furniture, this set will def grow with her and I will never have to buy her furniture again. The furniture is really sturdy, and the hardwood doesn't dent at all. I do believe, i would check with BBB that the natural and pine colors are made from pine not hardwood, pine dents easily too.
I don't have any cons about it. I have it in the pecan hardwood. The natural looked too light in person to me and it was made from pine i do believe.
I shopped EVERYWHERE for something that could compare or i liked better and i kept going back to that set.
The changing dresser with hutch
5 chest of drawers
The actual crib

Re: LEGACY BABY FURNITURE - BBB
Yes, I have the Bergen County convertible crib. I DO love the look & the durability, but... Honestly, if I could do it all over, I wouldn't get it. Nothing seems to fit it right: bumpers don't tie on it well, I could rarely find crib toys that tie properly to it, my DD now bites the curvy sides of the crib & I'm in the process of looking into some type of cover for that (doubt they make it). The front (rail) doesn't drop so now that the mattress is at the lowest level, if someone who is very short needs to put her to sleep, they'll have a hard time. It looks beautiful, and I love the fact that it can turn into a full bed, but with the way styles change, will my daughter even like this type of furniture when she's a teen? (Too bad-She better!!! )
