Let me tell you what happened at Country Critters Pet Store in Patchogue..
Last week Lastchance1222 "Jeannine" bought my aquarium so we setup the tank for her twins in there bedroom on Thursday and bought a few fish on Friday from CC... Saturday two fish were killed by two of the more aggressive fish so we called CC and told them what happened and we weren't able to come back until Monday and the sales manager said that was fine "I'll Bend The Rules This TIme" They normally have a 24 hour return policy. Got her name and and she got Jeannines...
Now it's Monday and here we come, and all hell brakes lose...
The lady we talked to over the phone was the Sales Manager was sooooooo rude pointing her finger in Jeannines face and then started pointing her pen at her and said that Jeannine was a liar that I never said I would Bend The Rules This TIme.. I told her I heard the conversation when Jeannine called and was talking to you and she just went nuts... The back and forth argument sp went on so long I had to step in and told the lady she was a piece of Trash for talking like this and pointing her pen in Jeannines face. Then she called me a Dirt Bag and called Jeannine a few words and gave Jeannie a store credit for $9 and I think about $40 worth of fish died from the 2 by Monday.
Of course we left and told her she can keep her credit..
As we were leaving a few of the employees came out and apologized for there managers rudeness. Which I thought was nice...

Is she the owner or just a manager? Can you get an address to contact HER supervisor or the owner of the store? I can guarantee stories like this will really hurt their business.. not something you want in this economy!

Wow- I'm so sorry, what a nasty person!
I'm glad I read this actually. We were planning a trip there to spend a good amount of $$ on some fish and accessories. We'll be going somewhere else instead.
