Let talk about taking your baby to Day Care for the first time..

What do I take?

They said pack a bag like you normally would if you were going out and you can bring a pack of diapers and formula if you want.. "etc"

"Etc" ??? are you kidding me? Im lil miss over prepared!!!

What do I take? Here's my questions

She likes to sleep on her incline, so we bought an extra one for Day Care... Yes or No? (PS should I use a sharpie on the bottom to put her name?)

A can of Formula? Yes or No
Follow up - Premeasure the water or send bottled water?

Or premake the formula for them?

Should we expect the bottles to come home? or do they reuse them?

I know I should pack an extra crib sheet and at least one extra outfit, I was going to do two extra outfits.. Yes or No.

Extra Paci just for Day Care? Yes or No?

We use those waterproof pads.. (looks like a small sheet, can put them on a crib if you want) we Fold it in half and put it under her for changing. Also keep one in her diaper bag. Do we send one to Day Care or do they have a change station?

She doesn't play with toys, she likes her Mobile and her aquarium and recently her activity center (all Ocean Wonders). Can't send those.. so I just send a toy just in case?

What else?

OMG am I losing my mind? I really can't imagine just "etc" I way over do it, I know

She likes to sleep on her incline, so we bought an extra one for Day Care... Yes or No? (PS should I use a sharpie on the bottom to put her name?)-YES, bring it. And YES put her name in sharpie on the bottom. Label EVERYTHING.

A can of Formula? Yes or No-I'd bring an extra can to leave in her cubby or cabinet.
Follow up - Premeasure the water or send bottled water?-I am pretty sure my daycare had us make the bottles the night before. They aren't supposed to make them.

Put your DC's name on EVERYTHING you bring.

A lot of daycares including mine do not mix or dispense formula from a can. I bring the bottles already prepared. When she was on formula, I left an extra can and an empty bottle there just in case.

-Extra sheet
-Extra bibs
-Extra paci
-At least one change of clothes

They will give you the bottles back every day, rinsed out. I brought a mobile in to use when she was younger.

A can of Formula? Yes or No - YES, LEAVE A CAN THERE FOR EMERGENCIES

Follow up - Premeasure the water or send bottled water? - I USED TO PREMEASURE THE WATER IN ALL THE BOTTLES AND THEN PUT THE FORMULA IN THOSE CASES THAT ARE COMPARTMENTALIZED FOR EACH FEEDING.

Or premake the formula for them? NO, IF YOU PREMIX THEM, THEY HAVE TO PUT IN THE FRIDGE. IF SHE DRINKS THE MILK ROOM TEMP THEN THEY'LL NEED TO HEAT IT UP FOR HER.

Should we expect the bottles to come home? or do they reuse them? - MY DAYCARE USED TO JUST RINSE THE BOTTLE OUT AND PUT IT BACK IN HIS DIAPER BAG.
