Lets Discuss the Jets!!!
What does everyone think about getting rid of Vilma? He is almost fully recovered and then he goes. I know he didn't like Mangini's 3-4 defense. We also had a few other acquisitions. What about the QB. We can get all pro bowlers but a crappy QB isn't going to do anything for us.

ITA - we can have an awesome front line and fantastic receivers but w/o a great quarterback ummmmm, its pretty worthless.
I do like Chad - I think he's a great backup. He knows the team and is comfortable with Mangini's style. I do not think he is a first string guy.
As for Vilma - its a tough call. I think if he wasn't happy then it was a good decision. An unhappy player definitely does not perform up to standard. As long as Cotchery and McCarreins are still around I think we're ok. Also with, oh boy, his name is escaping me.......the other receiver who went to the Redskins and now is back is a great player so hopefully he'll stay put.
I pray this season isn't as painful as last - I can't take it anymore

My Dh just went to one of the players house on Thursday to do his cable. Dh was talking with him about Giants  .. My dh is a die hard giant fan.
I asked did he get any autographs for our nephews.. they love the jets.. he didnt.. grrr
