LET'S GO RAYS!
I know, nobody cares. But I just couldn't deal if the fargin' Saauuxx make it.
I'm not too invested in the NLCS, even though I love Torre. Just glad he made it this far with his team.
DH has always liked the Phillies. Just because it was his dad's team. Pop's always called the Yankees "the Stinkees"
Strangest thing has been happening this postseason....he's actually WATCHING it now that the Yankees are out. We never do once they're eliminated.
But what's even stranger? He bought a Ryan Howard jersey!!!!! I'm honestly baffled. I keep asking him and he says "I like the Phillies." I say "You don't buy a jersey of a team you LIKE! You buy the jersey of YOUR team!" He's very odd.
Sorry Mets fans....I just had to share.

Dave said the EXACT same thing.
We listened to the scores last night on the way home and when they said the Sox won - he SCREAMED - LOSE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad the Phillies are winning though! I like them and the Mariners...and we LOVE Philly...we go a LOT!

we're met fans but dh wants the rays to all the way. once they were losing 2-0, he turned it off. then a while later, he put it back it. we couldn't believe how the score was going. it must've been an exciting game to see

I am hoping for a Rays vs. Dodgers world series and I would love for the dodgers to win so that Torre can say *uc* you the Yankees. I love the Yankees but what they did to Joe was disgusting.

I only started watching the Rays when they made the playoffs. Fox Tampa bay was really into the team and how they live up to that underdog story so I figured let me check this team out. I couldnt believe how they played. They are amazing. I am rooting for them. I'd like to see them go all the way. They worked hard for it and deserve it.

The city of Sarasota is real close to wooing the Red Socks to have a stadium built and have their training camp there instead of Fort Myers. Sarasota is about an hour south of Tampa. Lots of tension going on
Rays are going to shut them out on their own turf

I even told my students today I've never been that happy for a team that wasn't MY team! That freakin' ROCKED!! I was cheering and glowing all morning when I saw it on ESPN!
