Let's say you had to go shopping for a dress for a wedding...

..where would you go?
I usually only shop online- (HATE the mall, etc) but I'm not having much luck online.
Looking for a cocktail type dress.

Please give me some suggestions of where you shop for dresses.

Thanks!

Lord and Taylor's, they have a large selection and everytime I walk through that department to get to the elevator I always see such cute cocktail dresses.

Macy's, Lord & Taylor & Nordstrom.

I just went through this recntly.

I ordered something online--hated it, returned it.

I went to Macys a few times--ususally I can find something at the Herald Square location, but not this time.

Tried on a bunch of cute things at L & T in Manhattan, but I am borderline plus size & they didn't fit.

Bought something from the plus department of L & T, but would have had to had it taken in & shortened.

Then I went to Nordstrom & found something for less than the L & T dress!

My MIL is the worst at dress shopping & she found something at Macy's Roosevelt field for the same event.

I just went to Estelle's yesterday! I actually found THREE perfect dresses and had a hard time picking just one. I ended up with a great dress for about $150!
