Let's talk about...Mommy and me classes...

I've never gone to any or even know anyone who spoke much about going to them.

What types of classes do they have?
How much are they?
Where do they usually have them?
How old should the baby be?

I'd be very curious about this too. I started looking into it but didn't find much. My little one has never been around another baby. None of our friends have infants. If anyone knows of any in Queens, I would appreciate the info Chat Icon

Check your local library, they might have them for free.

My library has 1 once a month.

We just started The Orignal Mommy & me this week. DD had a great time. The class is $265 for 16 weeks and is held every monday and its location in Holtsville.
Shes 10 months an was the youngest in the class but its a younger class so she was right up there playing with the kids.
1st is a half hour of free play. The kids just play with All the toys in the play room.
2nd is circle time. We sit with our kids in a circle time area and sing songs and play pupets & pop bubbles.
3rd was snack time & story time. They gave out anaimal crackers you bring a drink for your child and the teacher read a story.
Last was art time, they make simple projects this week they stuck crushed up tissue paper to a paper apple. DD loved crushing the paper up.
It was a great time.

Hope that helps you. Chat Icon
