Guess The Gerber's Take the labels off of the baby food jars and have the women at the baby shower guess the food (carrots, peas, sweet potato).

bingo, guess the gerth (a roll of streamers at every table, and they all try to guess how big your belly is- the closest without going over wins a prize),
word scramble(all baby related words), fill a jar with something and guess the amount in the jar....

We did a cute game at SIL's baby shower. We named TV shows and the guests had to list all the children's names. For instance, The Cosby Show...the answer would be Sondra, Denise, Theo, Vanessa, and Rudy.

I personally like the Starbucks gift cards.

for my sister shower, I gave full sized bath and body works soaps (I got them on sale 5/$15)

For the record, the person who came up w/ that game where you cut the ribbon to reach around the PG woman's body should die a slow and painful death .............WHO finds that amusing ????

I love the dirty diaper one and the guess the baby food one (get the jars that are really gross, lol).

We went to a baby shower recently and they had a ton of games. One I loved was they had two baby dolls and each had a basket of clothes, a diaper, hat, booties, etc. They chose two married couples and they each had a hand tied behind their backs so they had to work together with one hand each to get the baby totally dressed. It was hilarious.

There was also one where two guys are chosen and each has a broom stick between their legs sticking out. Then 5 women are chosen for each team and they each have a toilet paper roll between their legs and the first team who gets all the toilet paper rolls on the broomstick wins (no hands!).

They also did the ice cube game, they froze tiny babies inside ice cubes and 10 women went up and tried to thaw the ice cube first (no sucking on it and no dropping it on the floor).

for one of my sisters' showers, i did the dirty diaper game, baby bingo and some scratch off baby shower tickets. I also gave out prizes from bath and body works because at that time they were having huge sales.

For my shower, my sister did baby bingo.

Got this off a website...

Poopy Diaper Game:
Baby diapers are filled with melted chocolate candy bars, making it look just like a poopy diaper. Using their senses of smell and sight, guests must guess what kind of chocolate candy bar fills the dirty diaper.

Game preparation:
Gather 5 or 6 chocolate candy bars (Snickers, Milky Way, Mr. Goodbar, etc.) and melt separately in microwave. Spoon the melted chocolate into baby diapers (real or homemade.) Give each guest a pencil and paper to write down her guess as to what kind of candy bar is in the diaper. The guest with the most correct guesses wins.

That is DISGUSTING !! But hilarious !! I have never seen that before -

Only been to showers with the same old games.. like word scramble, bingo, cant say the word baby where you get a paper clip and if someone said baby (or anyother words you want) you take their clip.. then the one with the most clips at the end wins. also seen guess the m&ms in a baby bottle, guess the price of items like wipes, diapers, baby essentials etc.

Dirty diaper sounds hilarous.. I cant wait for the next time I can through someone a baby shower.. i want to do that one.
