Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
A couple of questions:
1) What color do you have in your bathroom and what color grout?
2) If you had it to do over (or are going to do over) what would you do differently in your bathroom regarding tile?

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
I personally don't like obvious grout lines, so both of our bathrooms have a textured tan color, and tan/almond grout. I like it when it almost looks like a solid sheet of tile. I laid the tile in one of our bathrooms last year, so I definitely wouldn't change that.

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
In the shower/tub area: white subway tile, white grout - - Wouldn't change anything - love the look. Isn't that hard to maintain.
On the floor: white & black hex tile, silver-grey grout - - Again, wouldn't change a thing. The grey grout will get darker (a look I like - I actually wanted black grout but was vetoed). The white tile shows a lot (I'm a dark-haired-shedder)...but it's a bathroom and gets cleaned often.

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
Right now since we just bought the house and don't have the money to redo the bathroom it is yellow (plastic!!!)tile with black border. When we redo it I will probably stay with a beige/cream colored tile and an almond or tan grout just to keep it all neutral.

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
Every tile job we do I chose grout that blends with the tile. I don't like constrasting grout (darker or much whiter/lighter).

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
whatever you do, dont put in plain white tile. We didnt pick it and it is a PITA. It shows everything no matter how often I clean.

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
We redid our half bath last year (there are pics in my album) and we did a gray grout to go with the tile. I love what we did downstairs although it probalby isn't everyones taste. We are about to start our full bathroom upstairs in a month or so and we plan to do very neutral colors--tans and browns--maybe even a blue.

Re: Lets talk Bathroom Tile...
We just purchased all of the stuff to redo our bath...we are using Rialto beige tile from lowes and I am definitely doing a matching grout on the walls and maybe go a little darker for the floor.. Image Attachment(s):
