Let's talk chicken pox and Holidays coming up

If I give the Chicken Pox vaccine to DS next Monday (12/15), would DS be "clear" by Christmas of any vaccine reaction?

Is that a 1 time shot? Is there a booster?

What kind of reaction can I expect from it?

My ped told me she could have a reaction up to 2-3 weeks after the shot - she had a reaction 2 weeks later. Sophie I would hold off until after the holidays if you can. You get one shot now and one I think at like 3 or 4 if I remember correctly - DD got a fever and a rash. She has only had a reaction to two shots - the MMR and the chicken pox - she never has a reaction to any of her other shots.
