Let's talk coxsackie and going back to daycare
OK, so let's just start by saying that coxsackie has run rampant through my house.
DD got it starting last Tuesday morning. Started with a fever, then she got the sores in her mouth with a rash on her legs and arms.
Then DS got a fever on Friday morning. But his fever was gone by that night and he has been fine ever since.
Then I got a fever Friday afternoon which has come and gone through today.
So I have no idea what the policy is at daycare for the kids going back to school. I assume DS is fine because all he had was the fever and he has been fever free for 2 days now.
DD, not so sure about. She was last in daycare last Monday.
What are the policies at your schools if you know. Do they require a doctors note? That would be a major PIA if I need to take DD to the doctor. Just not sure what to do about tomorrow.

24 hrs fever free is typically the rule...sounds like they're both fine to go back

So not as exciting as I thought
I don't know about coxsackie-however, if she is feeling better and has been fever free for over 24 hours then I would think she is GTG.

So if I haven't been fever free for 24 hours does that mean I'm not allowed to go into daycare to drop them off????
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid coxsackie!!!!
