Lets talk excercise-
Aside from chasing a VERY actively toddler all day long - I go for a 1 mile jog/day (well Im still walking half of it- Im slowly building up the endurance to be able to go the whole mile!)
I know I need to get more excercise into my routine and Im not sure how... I really dont wanna spend the $$ on a gym every month however I am considering joining a yoga class (but is that even really a workout?)
I use to be big into tae-bo- and in the past it really helped me tone... I could go dig up the old DVD's,,????
Any suggestions??

Re: Lets talk excercise-
You do not need to invest in a lot of expensive things...If you like walking/jogging, stick with that, but I would up the time to 30-45 minutes at least. Once you get that down, then start playing with the intensity.
I would also consider some strength training. Yoga is not bad for stretching & relaxation. some of the positions do require muscle strength too.
Dvds work too, especially if the weather is bad.

Do you have DirectTV? There's a FitTV channel, and there are workout shows on it. I love Cathe Friedrich! (I have a ton of her workout DVDs too).
You could also add some sprints to your jog, and do some walking lunges too. Pushups are a great upper body exercise.

Re: Lets talk excercise-
Yoga is definitely a workout if you do it correctly. It involves strength, balance and stretching. I've found that yoga centers are pricey - I just go to the class at my gym (about half the price of the local yoga center). I also use the elliptical and weight machines at the gym so it's worth it for me.
The nice weather is here so try going on more walks with your DS - and playing at the park! Go on the see saw, the swings, the jungle gym (or whatever you call it), monkey bars - it will give you a workout and you get to spend time with your DS too.
