Lets talk Maclaren Strollers
Which one do you have and do you like it.
My DS is 6 months and I was looking for a lightweight stroller. I have the peg perego pliko (love it, but need another lighter one).
Look at their Volo-not good because it does not recline.
Suggestions?

Re: Lets talk Maclaren Strollers
My son is 17 months old and I have the 2005 Maclaren Techno Classic in Carbon/Crimson. I bought it in February 2006 online from Little Folks in the city. I think a paid about $220.00 with tax and shipping. So far so good. I love the foot boot. Previously, I had a Peg Perego Venezia which I loved but it was too bulky and heavy. That stroller took up too much space in my truck. I have a BMW and the Maclaren fits great in the trunk. The only negative is no cup holder or tray for the baby. But I bought the Maclaren Universal Organizer to solve this problem. The basket is also very small.

Re: Lets talk Maclaren Strollers
When my son was about 14mos or so I bought the 2006 Quest as my lightweight stroller. I like the stroller - it is lightweight and compact and reclines nicely and easily. Of course I miss my large basket of my metrolite (I still use a lot for park trips and walks and stuff like that). The only thing I wish it had was adjustable handles. It doesn't move and I have long legs and when I attach my diaper bag to the handles (since it can't fit in the small basket) I am constantly bumping into it and find myself walking runny (on my toes) to avoid that. I think if the handles adjusted or were slightly higher it would work better for me.
