Let's talk Super Bowl
So finalizing the guest list, but looks like around 43 people. 23 of them are kids between the ages of 11 - 5. I have one family of 5 a maybe. We have two dens where the game will be on for seating so mostly want to do finger foods and nothing too crazy or messy bc a lot of people and a lot walking around.
THinking - lots of chips dips moz sticks mini hot dogs coconut shrimp cheese and crackers a few sub choices (American, Italian and the fav chicken parm, roasted red pepper and fresh moz sub) pasta salad cole slaw chicken fingers and fries I will ask the guests to bring desserts, but not too much bc last year I had WAY too much, Had a few less people and everyone brought Costco size desserts. Of course tons of beer choices, those seltzer alcohol drinks, stuff to make a cosmo, wines, water, sodas
Anything else? I know majority is leaving at half time. Thanks

LOL I thought the same. I don't think 43 people would fit in my house!

Sounds like plenty, though if you have it in you, a bunch of cut up vegetables + hummus would break up the carbs/fried stuff.

Funny you say that... I was literally thinking we need some veggies to add. Will do hummus and veggie dig as well. I also like a bean dip Costco makes.

Yes! DH is always... the more the merrier! LOL We have two TV rooms. A great room with a TV and bar and a movie room (well, DH made it into a movie room recently getting rid of the old TV and putting in a 120 inch screen). THat's what happens when you marry a contractor with a computers degree and a big kid all in one. All men are big kids though. The basement is finished with a lot of stuff for the kids so they'll all be down there watching the game or playing video games.
Adding veggies to the list and should be good. THanks

Re: Let's talk Super Bowl
Sounds great but I agree with the veggie suggestion. Also, maybe swap a green salad for the coleslaw.
I would also add wings or buffalo chicken dip.
