Lets talk Winter Boots
I told my mom that I was most likely going to just get a cheapo pair of winter boots for Emily from Payless this year --- because she had a pair last year that we only used once ---
However my mom pointed out that last year she was only 1 -- this year at 2 we might spend more time outside in the snow.
Plus she might go outside to play with the kids at the babysitter's house, since we switched sitters and they spend a lot of time outside.
My mom suggested that I either get a good pair of boots for her, or get her a pair of galoshes that will go over her sneakers, because she can wear them on cold rainy days too.
Where did/will you be getting your child's winter boots?
And has anyone got galoshes for a 2 year old? I don't even know where t get them from!

Re: Lets talk Winter Boots
I just got them inexpensive Champion snow boots from Target. Even if they are playing out more this year, I don't keep them out a really long time since it's usually pretty cold out.
I haven't gotten galoshes, but maybe LL Bean or Lands End?

I'm probably no help, but I just a pair for my DD at Target. She is only 1 so like you said she probably won't be out side much. They had a few other styles too Image Attachment(s):

Re: Lets talk Winter Boots
I am getting a pair from target for Jake. Last year I bought his from Stride Rite and he used them maybe once or twice - waste of $$$.

We got the ones from Target as well. They're super cute and seem really warm and fit well.

Re: Lets talk Winter Boots
I dont' know what qualifies as a good or not good boot but I saw and bought stride rite snow boots for Ellie a few days ago at Marshalls and they had like 6 or 7 pairs and the same in boys too and they were $19 so not too much more than Target which is what I would've done if I hadn't seen them.
