Level 2: full bladder necessary?

I have my level 2 at 8:30AM and I'm about to leave the house. Do I need to have a full bladder?

I go on Thursday and they called yesterday to confirm and said to drink 12 oz of water prior to coming in.

For my level 2, they told me I didn't have to have a full bladder. You may want to call to confirm.

My bladder was totally empty as I had just peed for the nurse. My Level II was external.

I also had an empty bladder...it may help to drink some OJ or juice b4 so baby is a bit active

I was told to drink 32 oz. of water and then when the tech started the test, she told me that was false, the secretary was wrong. Chat Icon

Re: Level 2: full bladder necessary?

I think it's before the level 2 because the baby's smaller. Why not just have a full bladder and so that if you need one, it's all full, if you don't, just ask to peeChat Icon

You're better off going in with a full bladder...the images are much clearer and easier for the technician to read. You can always empty it quicklyChat Icon

They had me empty my bladder right before my Level II.
