Level II ultrasound
I have an appointment to meet with a maternal fetal medicine specialist on October 16th....I will be 17 weeks along. They are going to do a level II sonogram to ensure that everything is okay.
My husband said he may want to find out the baby's sex (we wanted to be surprised...well I did) 
Is it too early to detect the sex at 17 weeks, when did you find out the sex?

Don't hold your breath though.... I wanted to know SOOO badly and it took us 3 times to find out. We didn't know for sure until about 27 weeks.

 I am thinking maybe since it is a specialist, they will have a more high tech sonogram......my husband is the one who wants to know...he is so fickle

I tried at the regular ultrasound at 18 weeks and kept getting his hiney.
Then, I got my level II at 22 weeks and he gave us a peek.
