Levittown ? re: oil

We are closing on our house next Friday and its a Levit cape. I think its oil heat. Do I still need to call Keyspan? Sorry for the dumb question but i"m new to this and my lawyer is a Jack butt!!! Thanks

If it has oil, then you do not call Keyspan. Keyspan is gas. Do you know if the tank is above ground or underground?

I would ask at when the last drop was and who they currently use (you can sometimes contact the company to advise that you are taking over and negotiate a good contract/price per gallon if you decide to stick with them) or call up and get service/oil elsewhere.

Keyspan is for Gas, so no need to call them.

I would check who the Seller used for Oil and also start calling other Companies to get rates.

OK. You may want to call your broker, they usually can find out information like that.

We never had a broker, we went to an open house. The sellers broker is not to happy with us because we got the house for much less because the bank appraisal came back less.
