Levittown schools?
What are your thoughts/opinions on the district. Many of the houses we have been looking at are in Wantagh, but have Levittown schools. I am not too familiar with them. TIA

We live in Levittown, and it's much bigger than I thought. Our HS is MacArthur. There is also Division HS, which is further West, near the Wantagh Pkwy and Hempstead Tpk. Then there's Island Trees HS, which is in the middle. I've "heard" that MacArthur and Island Trees are the better school districts to live in, but we're not going to need the HS for quite a while.

Island Trees is it's own school district. If you are looking in Wantagh, you are probably looking at MacArthur HS being the HS for your neighborhood. From what I have heard, MacArthur is better than Division, the other L-town HS.
We live in the Island Trees School District, DH graduated from there, if you have any questions about it, let me know.

Danielle and I live in levittown. Our schools are salk and Macarthur. It is a great area. We love it her.

We live in Wantagh but are in Levittown School District (East Broadway Elementary, Salk & MacArthur). I happened to LOVE the schools as I am a product of them plus my mom taught in Levittown elementary for 21 years. In my opinion, MacArthur & Salk are better then Wisdom & Division. If you are looking in Wantagh though, you are definately in the same schools as I am....

That is where DH and I met too..Many moons ago of course 
We did pretty well for ouselves. I grew up in Seaford while DH in L-town next to Gardiner's Ave school. I have many friends that work in the district now.

My DH is a teacher at MacArthur HS in Levittown. This is his first year at this district. He said the school is very nice, and very strict. He also said the kids seem really nice, and well behaved for the most part.
When my DH got the job, many people told him that he was teaching in the better HS (MacArthur) rather then (Division).
