Re: levitts- 2nd floor bathrooms?
I have a levitts house and a 2nd bathroom but it was already that way when we bought it a couple years ago.
I did not know it used to be a closed. Mine is directly accross the stairs between both bedroom when you go upstairs.
We have sink, toilet and a shower. They put a shower stall behind the door (extending into the bedroom).
It would cost at least $5K-7K to renovate it. It's old and that's on the to do list. They have to redo sheetrock, tile, all fixures, sink, etc...

My friends just put their washer and dryer up stairs. I know it cost them about $1500 to have the plumbers move the pipes upstairs.
As for the toilet, shower, and sink - you can buy that all at home depot or lowes, to save money and then have a contractor install it.
I can recommend the company that did our deck, they do great work
Tru Tek - In Seaford.

we have the same thing - stall shower, sink, and toilet. The previous owners redid it pretty cheaply and we had to do the rebath thing with the shower.
