LG Chocolate phone

Anyone have it?

Do you like it?

Anything you don't like?

Does it work well?

Would you buy it again?

My contract is up and I need a new phone - this is one of my top choices. Thanks!!!

Re: LG Chocolate phone

i got the LG VX 8600 - the clamshell chocolate - last week.

i have to say, its the best phone I've ever had.

The chocolate (regular) doesn't have a speakerphone and the battery life is so-so. I researched a LOT before making my decision....IMO, their best choices right now are the razr-thin 8600 or the fat 8300. Both great phones.

Re: LG Chocolate phone

Anyone have it? I do

Do you like it? I like it but there are things I don't like too

Anything you don't like? The 'buttons' on the face of the phone can be 'pushed' by your cheek when you talk ... by buttons, it is really a 'sensitive touch pad' when not locked

Does it work well? The service is good, but the touch pad is very sensitive so sometimes it takes a few "try's" to get what I want it to do, which can be frustrating. You can desensitize the pad, but then it can make it harder to get what you want pushed when you want it pushed. Oh and the phone is black so the fingerprints, streaks are annoying and you cannot 'wet' it.

Would you buy it again? Hmmm, not sure. Considering I had my old phone for over 5 years I'm not much of a changer, but I don't know. I like it, it's cool - great graphics, MP3 player, email, web, etc... but there is no speaker phone on it which is annoying.

dh has the chocolate phone and he loves it and he is very picky about phones. only complaint is no speaker phone, but that may change with the newer models

I have it and agree with PP. There are different sensitivity levels you can set. It took me a while to find one that worked the best for me. Overall I really like the phone - and now you can get one for $99!
