LH peak almost 3 days after trigger?
I triggered around 9:30pm on tues. All day yesterday, I had O pains and last night I had an "almost" LH peak. I normally get O pains the day before I O.
This morning it was a real peak. does this mean I will O later today, or tomorrow? That is well after 36 hrs after trigger. Or does the trigger mess with LH. Just wondering if we should BD for good measure.
I know I was starting to see a LH line last week on clomid, but it pretty much stopped when I ended clomid.
I had O-like pains on Sun too, but they said that was due to the 40mm follie they saw on the sono Mon night. They said it would rupture adn not produce a good egg though.

The trigger totally messes with the OPK. The trigger is hcg and it is detected similarly to LH, so the OPK will read positive.

Re: LH peak almost 3 days after trigger?
dont bother using an OPK if you did a trigger. you dont need it. trigger guarantees O within 36-48 hours of the shot. OPKs are not needed and will not be accurate cause the trigger is HCG and not natural LH.

Ah, ok! Makes sense. This is my first med/iui cycle and I was so in tune with my symptoms before. Now I'm all out of wack.
Thanks!
