Liam is starting daycare

Hi all,
Liam is starting daycare full time tomorrow - and I go back to work Monday. Chat Icon I brought him yesterday and stayed for 3 hours with him to help him get adjusted. He did well. He took to the Fisher Price Aquarium swing they had like it was his and his alone.....we registered and got the Fisher Price Papasan swing for our house and he never really liked it that much...he's getting used to it now but LOVES that Aquarium one! Then I left him for 4 hours today. I thought I would be upset but I wasn't that bad but I was doing errands in the area so maybe that's why. It's going to be another thing when I'm 1.5 hours away in NYC working. At least there is someone there I know that works there - she's my neighbor's fiance. She was at his christening. The only thing is, even though she's very nice, she talks up a storm and talks about things you don't really want to know about (like her problems with the fiance). BUT it's nice to know there's someone there I know. Gives me some security, I think.

And......drumroll please......Liam cut his first tooth on Tuesday. Three days before he turns 3 months old. I can't believe it. I knew he was teething, he keeps gumming his fist and was drooling a bit over the past 2 weeks. Tuesday I brought him to visit my work buddies and he was in his pumpkin costume (pics to come when I dl them) but was sweating. I thought he was just overheated but I think he had broke a slight fever. He didn't seem cranky leading up to the tooth coming in but he's been a bit cranky on and off since then. I gave him Tylenol Tuesday because he started a mini-meltdown at work and called the pedi to ask about orajel. (the pedi said he doesn't recommend giving it but it's up to me, he said he thinks the numbness bugs infants just as much as the pain and so it's not very effective....but if he is really in pain I will try anyway but so far he's not gotten that bad).

So that's what's going on here. I am worried about sticking to a schedule at home and being organized. I drop him off at 6:30am - I'm freaking out about how to handle getting up and ready in the morning since Liam gets up anytime from 5am to 7am these days. My husband gets up at 5am and out the door at 5:30am for work. So he says he won't be able to help me get him ready. Meanwhile I actaully have to be up at 5am in order to get myself ready too so I really don't know how we are going to do this!!!!!
