Life is good
With the exception of a certain tempermental little girl (I'm not naming names ), life really is good.
I decided to work from home today , and as I'm sitting here, on a beauuuuutiful day, on my back porch, soaking in the sun, doing some really interesting and rewarding work helping children, I started to reflect, and think about how I really need to appreciate all that is good in our lives.
Sure, Alex is a whip, a tempestuous little devil, and tortures us to no end, but, at the end of the day, I have a wonderful husband who spoils me to death, a beautiful, energetic, strong-willed little girl, a father who is starting to recover and spending precious time with all of us, a beautiful house, and an absolutely phenomenal job.
Life is good.
**ONE caveat: As a woman, and as Alex's mother, I reserve the right to change my mood at anytime, particularly if Alex decides to have a tantrum day, and wake up six gazillion times in the night this evening

I agree with everything you said - especially the above...and I would like to add if DH pisses me off I am also allowed to change my mood.
