Life is not fair!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know how many of you follow the pets board but my first fur child, who will be 7 in Nov had been diagnosed with an untreatable cancer in Jan 2007. The vets in the begining were very pessimitic b/c of how sick she was when we first brought her in, bbut her recovery was literally sa miracle. The dctrs said we would be lucky if we had her with us-in good spirits- for 6 months. We have been going through chemo for 18 months and now its just a waiting game, the cancer has spread and there is nothing more we can do. Now day by heartbreaking day, we have to wait for god to come give her her wings.
The reason I am posting this is b/c I cant help bu think that in order for us to be successful in TTC, we need to lose one to gain one.Obviously we wouldnt be able to financially continue her chemotherapy if I were to conceive so my question is, is this gods way of making the decision for me?

I lost my Leprichaun cat 11 days before his 4th birthday suddenly of an unknown heart condition. I know how you must be feeling.

My cat died of breast ca so I know exactly what you are going through. They gave her 6 months and she lasted 9. The thing was I had a vacation planned and then was moving immediately upon return. There was no way I was going to do either while she was sick. So plans were put on hold. However, a week before the vacation I put her to sleep. It was her time and she was my BFF and I didn't want her to suffer. I think the universe has a way of things happening to us in an order that we can handle. Maybe you yourself think that you can handle it one way but in reality you can't. You just don't know it.
I was devestated and heartbroken and nothing will ever replace the love I have for her. You will be ok and if you ever want to scream and shout and ask why- go ahead. I'm sorry you have to go through this

I am so sorry! Your story is heartbreaking and I give you so much credit for being so strong during the last year and a half. It is terrible to lose a pet so I'm sending you lots of . If it helps, conceiving can take months to achieve and then you'd be pregnant for the 9 months, so it would be quite a while before the expense of a baby would come into play. You are a good *mommy* and your *daughter* is extremely lucky to have you!
