Lifetime Brands
Does anyone have any experience with this company? What is the culture like? I had an impromtu phone interview and am considering calling them back to set up somethingmore formal.

Re: Lifetime Brands
what dept is it? I used to do the pr for pfaltzgraff, which is now part of lifetime brands. i always enjoyed all interaction with company employees. my contact at pfaltzgraff has been with the company for a crazy amount of time; i'm sure if things didn't stay great when lifetime took them over than he wouldn't have stayed.

pfaltzfraff was only recently bought by lifetime brands
so the most he could be with lifetime is 2 and a half years

Lifetime bought Pfaltzgraff in 2005 I believe. what i meant was my contact has been with pfaltzgraff for something like 20 years or so, so if his experience changed dramatically for the worst once lifetime acquired them, i'm guessing he would quit.

Re: Lifetime Brands
trust me- I worked there- it was the worst experince of my life- out of the 20 people I was friends with there- not one is left now- and that was in a span of 2 years
and unfortuately for the people from the companies they buy
they sometimes have no choice but to stay
b/c there are not many other jobs in the area that the company they worked for was based out of and the cost to move is too much
most people that worked for phaltzgraff are gone and were gone before I left in 2006
