Re: Lil Squirt Baby Pool- Yay or Nay??

I have a similar one and DS hates it. In order for it to stay full and for the sprinklers to come on it has to be connected to a running hose, therefore the water is freezing! My son prefers a regular pool with nice warm water from my sink Chat Icon and on the really hot days we have the beach ball sprinkler.

Re: Lil Squirt Baby Pool- Yay or Nay??

We got it for my DD last year...
She is a January baby so she was 6-9 month(ish)....

We only used it once because the way it would spray seemed to annoy her ...I think its mainly because the water was always ice-cold ( where as with a pool it stays still and gets warm)...This is more of a very shallow mat, as opposed to a "pool" so the water is always fresh hose water, kwim ? ...Also, the water would squirt in her face Chat Icon

I thought it looked adorable, but after getting it I don't reccomend it to people...Maybe if my DD was a tad older and could get on/off it (crawling) she might enjoy it more but then again, if she could it would probably get boring Chat Icon

her cousin liked it more than she did though (she's 6 months older than Emma). Also you can control the SQUIRT - by the 'speed' of the water....

Re: Lil Squirt Baby Pool- Yay or Nay??

Even though we absolutely LOVED it, 2 of them popped on us....One Step was GREAT with sending us new ones.

However, I think that they have since reinforced it.
