Lindenhurst man accused of holding woman and teen for prostitution

LINDENHURST - Police and the FBI have arrested a Lindenhurst man who they say held a teen and a woman against their will for prostitution.
According to police, a search warrant was executed at a home on North Greene Avenue where agents discovered a 15-year-old female, who had run away from home, and a 21-year-old female in the residence.
Police say the two were being held against their will by Andy Gayot, who lived at the residence, and forced to engage in acts of prostitution. Police say the 21-year-old woman was held for over a year. The teenager was allegedly held for about four months.
Gayot, 35, was charged with compelling prostitution, three counts of promoting prostitution and rape among other charges.
Gayot is scheduled for arraignment today in Central Islip.
Authorities refused to say anything about the condition or whereabouts of the women.
