LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Lindsay Lohan is going to jail. Lindsay Lohan will go to jail in two weeks starting July 20. Lohan will still have to wear the SCRAM bracelet until she surrenders. After her release from custody, Lohan will then have to submit again to probation. Lohan previously was sentenced to 96 hours in jail.

The drama unfolded today in a Los Angeles courtroom. At roughly 3:30 PM PST, after a nearly full day hearing, Lohan was found to be in violation of her probation. Lohan’s original offense involved several untrue statements by the actress about substance possession, driving another person’s vehicle, and other offenses.

Lohan was in tears much of the entire sentencing. The prosecutor was prepared to offer evidence that Lohan did drink at the MTV Awards at which the SCRAM bracelet went off; that testimony was excluded by the Court.

Lohan’s 90 day jail sentence starts July 20.
