I'm a little surprised.
I think in the advent of BBB expanding their registry line to include higher end china, stemware and flatware buried LNT.

Red Envelope's customer service is the worst I have ever seen!!!!!!!! THey definitely wasted a ton of money sending me catalogs after I vowed never to buy from them again. As for LNT, Chapter 11 may not mean going out of business but I have not read about their plan.

don't count them out just yet- Chapter 7 means they are going out of business- Not 11
when they file chapter 7- then they have to liquidate and that's it- like levitz
as an "insider" to this industry- they are not going out of business just yet- in fact they are still requesting samples of new product

I agree about B,B&B. WAY BETTER!
and Red Envelope - I am shocked they stayed in business as long as they did.
I think we're going to see a lot of over-priced stores go under in the near future. people are not being as indulgent as they were.

I like BB&B better. I loved that other chain, Homeplace (?) that was around a few years back. They had nicer things.
LNT always has a line and is annoying to pay.

supposedly they are owned by a hedge fund that is really too highly leveraged. The same fund also owns Claires and I heard they're heading the same route.
I did hear that they might turn chapter 7.
