Link between TSH and fertility?
Was anyone told by their doctor that a TSH over 2.0 affects fertility? My RE said that a TSH over 2.0 means a higher risk of miscarriage. My endo said the same thing, and specifically said that a TSH over 2.0 should NOT affect fertility, just maintaining pregnancy.
Has anyone been told otherwise? I'm just curious. I am taking synthroid and my TSH went from 3.0 to 1.55 which is good. But I can't help but wonder...if my fertility is the same, why not just wait to take the synthroid until I become pg?

Synthroid takes a while to start working in your system. If you wait until you find out you are pregnant, it could already be too late.
