Lipton Onion Soup Mix
I've decided I'm too cheap to keep buying it. I looked it up online and am going to try out a recipe.
Has anyone else done this?
In case anyone else wants to try...
Mix together
8 tspn minced dry onion
1 tspn onion powder
4 tspn or 4 cubes beef bouillon
1/4 tspn celery salt
Makes 1 package

Sounds interesting. I might give it a shot.
I did pick up Stop & Shop onion soup mix the other day because it was $0.50 cheaper. I'll be using that pretty soon.

I just buy the store brand. They often have crazy sales like 10 for $10 and I'll stock up then. We use the onion soup mix in so many recipes that we always have an ample supply in the house.

Good Housekeeping has a homemade version of the dip...of course it is a bit more work ;)
