LIRR DELAYS
If anyone takes the LIRR from NYC...just got this advisory from LIRR.org
"Due to an earlier Amtrak signal problem in Sunnyside, Queens, the LIRR is currently experiencing scattered 5-10 minute delays on trains out of Penn Station and 30-40 minute delays east of Jamaica."

thanks for the update :) Lovely LIRR...
At least now I don't feel so bad about having school after work tonight - hopefully all the madness will be over by then 
Good luck getting home! I'd suggest stopping for some tasty-d-lite or shopping somewhere.
Its a nice night out, whats the hurry to get crammed up in Penn?

I know I hate the LIRR!
I'm taking the 7 train to Hunters Point and picking up the LIRR there (as usual). I'll just sleep on the train until we get through Jamaica.
Should be an interesting commute home! I need to get wireless internet on my phone so I can come on LIF while I'm stuck on the trains!
