LIRR from Huntington HELP!!!
I need to take the train from Huntington this afternoon around 3-330. Will I be able to find parking? I'm not a resident.
Thanks!
Help!! I found a spot in the non resident section but how the hell do I pay? I found the box thing but this thing looks like its out of the 19th century! How does it register the $ I put in? Please help lol!!!

It may be tough if you're going for the non-residential $5/slots.
I would park on the Southwest parking lot (West of Rte 110 / South of the train trestle) & walk over the bridge. I've never known anyone to get a ticket there & there are always plenty of spots.

Re: LIRR from Huntington
Be careful. They are cancelling some trains today and substitutiting with busess for track work on the Port Jeff/Huntington line!
And you will have a hard time finding parking. You will probably have to go in the long lot on New York Ave. Be prepared to walk.

LIRR from Huntington
I had this problem just the other day. I eneded up getting a parking spot in front of the train station on the street as i assume those early commuters get back earlier. I didn't want to risk a ticket as techincally, you need a pass till 5pm.

Shall I give Howard your regards?
Thanks everyone! My sister and her bf live about 10 mins (walking) from the station so worse comes to worse, we'll walk from there but I'm still hoping to get a spot since we're coming back late and it's supposed to rain.

It's by the ticket booth - in the front, to the right of the door.
