LIRR Ronkonkoma branch
Getting a report from someone on the train that it just hit a person near Brentwood station. 
Nothing on LIrr.org yet.
Update - emergency workers are working on the victim, he or she is still alive. Apparently, they were on the platform instead of on the tracks.

LIRR Service on the Ronkonkoma Branch is temporarily suspended between Deer Park and Ronkonkoma because of a train striking an unauthorized person on the tracks near the Brentwood Station. Mar-26-2008 03:49:19PM

LIRR Service on the Ronkonkoma Branch has been restored. Earlier, service was temporarily suspended between Ronkonkoma and Deer Park because of a train striking an unauthorized person on the tracks near Brentwood. The 2:15 PM from Penn Station arriving Ronkonkoma at 2:54 PM is being held at the scene and is currently 30 minutes late. Mar-26-2008 04:08:55PM
