LIRR....UGH..Service Advisory - nm- service restored!
They can fix broken rails quickly, right?
There is no local eastbound service between Penn Station and Jamaica because of a broken rail east of Forest Hills. NYC Transit is honoring LIRR tickets for travel to Forest Hills and Kew Gardens. Customers traveling to Woodside must use the Port Washington Branch for service to Woodside. Feb-11-2008 11:11:41AM

noooooooo.. this better be fixed by the time I go home today!!
Why are they only honoring tickets to Forest Hills and Kew Gardens? Wouldn't it make more sense to take the subway to Jamaica? There are hardly any trains that stop at Forest Hills and Kew Gardens.
