List of Local Farmer's Markets dates & locations
Long Island Farmers Markets: Dates & Locations By Jaclyn Gallucci on May 22nd, 2010
Last time we checked, no one ever packed on the pounds by eating too much summer squash. So, forget the Flat Belly Diet and the P90X plan—they just want your money. Try the 100-Mile Diet instead. It’s free and all you have to do is consume food grown within 100 miles of where you live. By buying local, you’ll reduce the impact on the environment by lessening the carbon emitted by food travel. You’ll also be supporting small independent farms rather than corporate businesses aka THE MAN, but we digress. Besides, eating locally—and we’re not talking the McDonald’s and 7-Eleven down the block—will also keep you healthy. If you do it right. So, skip the pineapple flown in from Hawaii and grab a peach grown right here on Long Island, and there are plenty of places to find one.

I am so glad there's one close to me this year.
I also read in the local free paper that Copiague is planning to have one too on Sundays in hopes of sprucing up the downtown area.

Sayville has a small one on the corner of Railroad and Main. It's from 8 to 3pm on Saturdays. It's really small.. but the coffee guy has the BEST iced sweet tea ever. And they have wines, bread and cheese. Last year Blue Island Shellfish Farms used to come.. but I haven't seen them this year yet. Currently there aren't many veggies or fruits.. some berries, some asparagus and spinach - and LOOOOTS of flowers! In a couple of weeks they should have a lot more veg and some great strawberries too!

There's one in Huntington every Sunday, early.
Northport has one in the municipal lot by the harbor. Not sure of the hours.

I think the Amityville one is a new one. I went to their Heritage Day fesitival yesterday and they had a booth and flyers about it. I'm excited because that's close to me.

This is much closer to me too! Do you know where 9/11 Memorial Park is? I know it says it's on 110, but do you know what else it's near?

Yeah, I couldn't figure that out either. I did a google search and it is on Broadway and Railroad Avenue (so basically right under teh RR) next to Cameta Camera.
