List of organic foods to buy - what would you recommend?
I want to have as much organic stuff in my house as I can without breaking the bank. I know that is going to be kinda hard right? What do you still buy at the regular supermarket? Also, I hear Stop and Shop has a brand called Natures Promise. Is that organic and is that brand only sold at certain S&S's?
I think I should get my meat from the butcher... I usually go to Gemelli's for the meats but it's pricey..

We like organic milk (or at least milk without hormones)
Yogurt (like stonyfield farms) certain fruits and vegetables like soft skin fruits.

The first thing you should start buying organic is all dairy-milk, butter, eggs, yogurt...
Chicken and beef are much better organic as well-not to mention cleaner. If not organic, at least one that is marked natural, no antibiotic etc... Stay away from Perdue.
Potatoes are extremely high in pesticides so they should also be on top of the "switch to organic" list
I would also recommend apples-lots of pesticides in skin and the taste is totally different. Organic apples taste unbelievable.
ETS: a lot fo those things you can buy at trader joe's for a very reasonable price.

Milk, yogurt-organic and from cows no given hormones or antibiotics.
