Listen to what happened to me tonight! This doesn't happen at yoga!
b/c people are NICE at yoga!
I went to the gym where my parents live tonight (a Hamlet); I go there a lot. Anyway, I ALWAYS hold the door for people. Honestly...swear! I was leaving the gym, which is in the clubhouse, and I totally did not hear or see a person behind me. Well, I guess I accidentally closed the door in a guy's face. He goes: "Thank you," (sarcastically) and he really startled me; I didn't hear or see anyone coming, so I said, "Oh wow! I'm so sorry!" He goes: "That's OK--you're effing rude! Slamming the door in my face!" I said, "Are you kidding? Sir, I'm sorry!" Mind you, he's like, my age. He goes, "Sir?! Just save it. F*cking save it." OMG. I have serious anger problems with things like this. It took all my restraint not to flip him off. I don't think the guy lives in my parents' development; he walked to the hotel parking lot. It really ruined my night. UGH.

Thanks, gals! I went to my parents house to vent, b/c DH is at graduate school...all sweaty and gross from the gym, and they had the neighbors over, which I didn't know. I made them all listen to my silly little story. My dad's like, "Have a glass of wine." ha ha

totally agree! when someone's a complete ahole to me i try to give them the benefit of the doubt and just assume they were having a bad day. but dont let him get you down!
