Listing Positions?
I left my last job that I was at for almost 2 years - left in May for a 3 month contract position that is now permanent. I hate it though and am starting to apply elsewhere. My question is - do I list the contract position? If so, what do I say I am doing now? Honestly, the position changed from my expectations and description, so I can just say that. OR do I not list it at all and just say I took the summer off and now, I don't know.????
TIA!

I would just say the truth. No one could hold it against you that it didn't turn out to be what you expected.
I actually am thinking of leaving my job and honestly, my job description has changed drastically!

Re: Listing Positions?
It's a contract position, so it's perfectly fine to list it that way on your resume - contract positions typically tend to be a few months, so don't worry about it!
Now, on the other hand - when are you locked into it until?

That's the tiricky issue. Technically, my contract ended Aug. 21st and I am now a permanent employee.
