Little Chefs in Syosset
Has anyone been there? My son just turned 2 and is invited to a birthday party there next week. Just curious what it's like.
Thanks

I've been to the one in Port Washington and it's absolutely adorable! Great place for a kids' party.

Re: Little Chefs in Syosset
we went to a party in port washington a couple of years ago and had my son's 4th at the one in syossett. they do an amazing job on parties. its so much fun. for hte younger kids, they do cookie making. they roll out the dough, and use cookie cutters. then its baked, they eat and sing songs and play games, and then they get to decorate their cookies with icing and sprinkles and m&m's and stuff. it really is alot of fun. not a cheap party though.

I've been to a party at the one in Syosset. Park in the back for the best lot....
It's cute. The one my son went to was a cupcake making one. They sit them down first with the ingredients (cake powder and water) and they mix them together and put the cupcake batter into disposable pans. while they are baking, the kids do some dance stuff and then eat. Once the cupcakes are ready, they sit again and frost them.
Very cute and the cupcakes were actually really good. They got to bring home 6 of them in a box.

Glad you mentioned that, I was going to bring up the parking bit...on the invitation it says to park in the LIRR station lot. So I can park in the back of the place? I've never been in that area before is it a pretty busy/packed location?

It's a busy street, and there is street parking, but hard to parallel park with all the traffic. The back of the store is a HUGE Syosset LIRR station parking lot. And Little Chefs has a back entrance.
If you come north on Jackson Ave., when you cross the RR tracks, turn right like you were going to park for the train. The row of stores is to your left, opposite the tracks. If you keep going to the front of the store, you can also pass it and make the next turn into the station parking lot.

My niece had her 7th birthday party there-it is really cute! They all make something (I think it was cupcakes for her birthday) and the staff helps the kids.
