My DH saw this and he thought it was a small gym for adults, LOL.

If you decide to join, Ryan will love it. We started taking Nate when he was 9 months and he loves it. He enjoys it even more now that he's walking.

Well Ry is so active so I thought this would be better than a reg. mommy and me type place...What exactly do they do there?

Each session is about 45 min and they focus on a different skill every week. One week could be about basic gymnastics, balance, flexibility, hand eye coordination using balls - etc...
The kids really enjoy it. They have little song they sing at the beginning and end of class. Then they go into the special activity. The gym (at least in Chicago) has a huge mat, different areas with balance beams, gymnastic bars, and tunnels.
It's a great bonding time with DC. We both try to attend the classes on Sat mornings. It's our family time and we usually go to breakfast afterward. Classes start back up in 2 weeks, I'll probably sit outside and watch. I don't have the energy to chase him around a gym.

Re: Little gym in Sayville-
I was thinking about it, but the times of the classes are not the greatest for me since I work m-f and then on saturday for a few hours in the morning during feb - april. Maybe I will wait until the summer session to join.
I really want to get them into some sort of program though.
