Never to a birthday party. But we have been to open play there.
IMO, I wouldn't do a first birthday at a playcenter though. The kids can't get much out of it (and older ones would be a little bored there) and your family won't have any fun!

really? i was thinking that being DD was born in the winter it would give the kids something to do. i wouldnt be inviting the whole family just ones with small kids. maybe ill look into other options

LS is great, but it is a room with a lot of toys. If you have kids older than like 3-4, they'd be bored.
DS was born in April, we had the party at my house, and I had 10 that were approximately 1 and it worked out fine!

I think it would be fine if you have all babies, it's just a room with all toys. You could also do the Original Mommy & Me, they have parties as well.

I think it would be perfect! I love that place, and unfortunately, they're having a hard time economically and it would be wonderful to support them. I've been to a party there and to open play twice. I think I'm going to have my son's third birthday party there, at least I'm considering it.
