Little Touch Leap Pad
Any of your children have this? Aidan got one for Christmas and I got him some extra books.
Both books besides the one that came with it, do not snap into the pad. They just kid of sit there but do not snap in like the book that came with it. Is this normal? I already returned one and thought it was a fluke thing, now opened the 2nd new book tonight and the same thing!

They dont' snap in - which means the books get destroyed.
I'm a huge Leap Frog fan, but wasn't crash about the books. I dont think it helps much when they're learning to read - it does keep them occupied with the games.

They don't snap in? But it says in the instructions to snap it in and the original book that comes with the pad does. It stays in nicely...
ETA: I am talking about the 6-36 months Little Touch Pad

I have that one I haven 't bought any other books yet but the other little games that came with it doesn't snap in. My daughter doesn't really play with it I try and sit with her and show her the book but she just turns the pages and tries to rip them out.

I just opened mine last night - the fit in ok but they can be easily removed by one little tug of the baby - but so did the book it came with. Kevin wasn't too interested in it - I know he will destroy the books. I didn't realize how flimsy the books are.

Aidan can't tug the one that does fit out, (or he hasn't figured it out yet!)
Plus the two that do not fit shift so much that they become misaligned with the sensors and the story resets themselves. It can't be right... I am awaiting a return email from LeapFrog
