Living Room Furniture
Any recommendations on whether to get living room furnture at Fortunoffs vs. Pottery Barn vs. Ethan Allen vs. JCPenny? We are looking for decent quality but not to break the entire bank. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Re: Living Room Furniture
They are all good choices. You may be able to find the "look" you want for less somewhere like Macy's, JCP or Fortunoff's with a sale.

Re: Living Room Furniture
I got my couch from Pottery Barn 6 years ago. I spent a lot of money on it ($2500). Delivery was horrible, they refused to bring it inside for me and left it on the front lawn! The fabric has held up great even with my 80 pound dog sitting on it everyday, but the coushins are all out of shape. Overall I am not impressed.
I love the look of JC Pennys furniture because it has the pottery barn style. I keep on reading that the quality is good and is a fraction of the cost. When we get new lr furniture we will definately be seriously considering JC Pennys.

Re: Living Room Furniture
SO far I have bought two entertainment wall centers, and an entire bedroom set from JCPenneys. Great Prices, Great Quality Great Delivery. Also, keep an eye out for their floor samples and discontinued items....this is where we saved BIG TIME. Our Bedroom set would ahve been about 6k, but we got a discontinued set new from the warehouse for 2k!
Our wall unit was 2000, we got the floor sample for $500
Again, great quality, I have been pleased so far.

So far I have furniture from Macy's, Domain, Raymour & Flanigan and Thomasville. I had good experiences with everyone.
