Livingrooms.....tan/brown/or darker in color
This spring we want to repaint our hallway and livingroom. I want a brown/tan or something darker in there. We have a cove we will paint white and white baseboards so it should be a crisp darker richer color.....anybody with any suggestions or pics??? TIA

We painted our living room and hallway a beige color. The spaces are connected so we wanted the same color. Pics are in my album.

We just painted our master bedroom with BM's Van Buren Brown, but I don't know if that's what you have in mind when you say "darker" or "richer". I'll eventually get some photos of it.

Re: Livingrooms.....tan/brown/or darker in color
I want something darker so that the baseboards and cove "pop" when you walk in. I'm not afraid of going as dark as a chocolate brown, but I would like to see some pics of LR's already done in darker//richer//not your typical LR colors.

This is BM Springfield Tan. On the same paint chip there is even a darker tan that I almost went with.

Took some quick pics of our bedroom to give you an idea of BM's Van Buren Brown (the room is obviously still under renovations, so forgive me for it's appearance) : (the unpainted doors are being replaced...that's why they're not painted.)

I always liked that swatch. What color would you say it mostly shows up as? It is hard to tell from a pic. I see a Mauvey color, am I seeing correctly?

Well...after we copied your Polaris blue for our living room, the Nutmeg was one of the corresponding colors recommended by BM...it looks great w/ the Polaris blue...not really mauevy at all...maybe its a bad pic...
Here's more pics...maybe you can get a better ideaImage Attachment(s):

:) yes! That was where I saw it too, in that pamphlet with matching color chart. There was also a yellow with it too (not a fan of yellow overall).
Got any pics of the Polaris and Nutmeg sort of side by side, if your rooms are able to be photographed that way?
Glad you like it, maybe I will use it one day. I really did like it.

That's really a nice color. And for such a dark color on the walls the room looks so bright...
