Loading doses of Humira done
4 shots in the leg. It burned like a MF..but it's over.
in two weeks, two more shots and then every two weeks one shot.
I hope this works in conjunction with the pred. This stuff is crazy expensive. It puts fertility med prices to shame if you can believe that.
I got some co-pay assistance through Humira directly so my co-pay was only $5!

Did taking it out of the fridge help? You do get used to it, which is the good news!
Yes, it is crazy expensive! I used to be on Enbrel and it was more!
When you get a chance, can you FM me how you got the assistance through Humira? I am going to be going back on it in a few months!
You are going to notice a difference in about two weeks...trust me, you will love it!
Good luck and lots of babydust!

The NP administered it. She did take it out of the fridge but then DH and I and her kept it in our hands to warm it for about 10 min.
I called Humira. 800-448-6472. There is a co-pay assistance program. If your co-pay is less than $500 you can get the medicine for $5. If it's over you pay the difference. Say if the co-pay is $550, you would pay $55.

Thank you so much! I am bookmarking this!
I would try to warm it for 5 more minutes. But it does get better when you get used to it. DH administered mine.

I plan on having DH do mine once I do it at home once every other week.
I couldn't keep the pen in place while it's burning.
