Lobster Tails - I am so confused - this should be easy!
OK - I have 2 (8) ounce lobster tails - they are frozen.
What is the best way for me to cook them?
I don't think I will have time to thaw them.
Please help! I keep reading all these different methods online and I am getting confused!
Am I suppose to cut the shell down the back before I boil them?
Should I broil them?
HELP!

I suppose you can boil them, though I would think they'd need to be thawed first.

Sorry Lauren, bu you need to thaw them first. Lobster is very tricky to cook frozen.
Try thawing in water at room temperature and keep changing it, they shouldn't take too long.
Steam or BROIL, I wouldn't boil......

I'm not sure how to thaw them. I'm sorry.
If you keep them whole, I think they will look like the first pic below.
If you slice them down the back, they will look like the second pic below.
I like broiled. For that, after boiling whole fresh lobster for 3 minutes, I slice down spine, arrange lobster with meat side up on baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Broil for about 3 minutes.
