Locations for small baby shower
Does anyone know of a location that is willing to host a smaller baby shower?
Looking around the Smithtown, Holbrook, Stony Brook areas.
We only have 15 people and would like to have a separate room but most places require a 25+ person minimum and just want to give us some table in the corner, not a private room.
HELP!!

Re: Locations for small baby shower
maybe check out Sole in Oceanside. we had my parents anniversary there several years ago, and while it was a bigger group that room was pretty small and would be perfect for a small shower. Give them a call b/c i don't remember a minimum at all. especially if you are in the off season and there are no communions, etc. good luck.
ETA: ugh, sorry i didn't see your location!! then I have no idea.

I know you are looking in Suffolk, but if you have a hard time and want to venture out to Nassau, I had mine at The Milleridge Inn and they have rooms of all sizes. It was pretty reasonable pricing for all of the food they give you.
Eta: Also try Butterfield's in Happauge. I had my reheasal dinner there because it is owned by a family friend. They have a smaller size room in the back.

Try The Country House in Stony Brook. It's simply elegant and they have a few different sized rooms:)

I'm not sure- but I would check out The Garden Grill in St. James. They have a website: http://www.thegardengrill.com/babybridalshower.php
We had my bridal shower there, but my sister had the largest room. I think you can get a smaller private room though.
Good luck!

What about a diner? They usually have back rooms and I bet would be flexible with numbers.
I know Ruvo in Greenlawn has a small room - I wonder if the Port Jeff one does?

I second this. We had our rehearsal dinner there in one of the smaller rooms. It was priced great and the food was really good!
